In planning a linocut flower series I've been doing some small floral studies. It's been helpful to better understand the structure of the blossoms.

'Thistle', colored pencil, 5"x3.5" on Colorfix paper.

Thanks, Annie... The colored pencils of my childhood are nothing like the wonderful Prismacolors of today. I've been having a ball playing with them.
