'Nitrogen' was my contribution for the 2007 Periodic Table of Elements Printmaking Project. The requirements were a 6" square print using the element's letter and number. Nitrogen is N and 7. In researching I initially wanted to deal with diving (as a former scuba instructor) and the effects on the body of nitrogen under pressure... but discovered nitrogen is found in all living things and thus changed the focus of my print.

'Nitrogeno' fue mi contribucion para el Proyecto de Grabado de la Tabla Periodica de Elementos 2007. Los requisitos era un grabado tamano 15cm cuadrado usando la letra y el numero del elemento. Nitrogeno es N y 7. Inicialmente quise un tema que trataba de buzear (como soy maestra de buzeo jubilada) y los efectos de nitrogeno baja presion en el cuerpo... pero descubri que el nitrogeno esta presente en todo que vive y entonces cambie el foco de mi grabado.
