Monoprint with watercolor - 'Pineapple' (5"x6"). I've been influenced by that wonderfully inventive artist/printmaker, Belinda Del Pesco. I'm saving this to possibly include in the exhibition.

Diane, that is beautiful!

Could you explain a monoprint? Would it be doing a single color linoleum block print (or woodblock print)-for example in black- and then hand-coloring the rest of the print with watercolor, acrylic, etc.? I looked at Belinda Del Pesco's site but was confused about the process... but I'm intrigued as well. :o)

Your work is absolutely fabulous... I am currently working on my first reduction print (I have some pictures on my blog)-- I hope it comes out HALF as good as your work! Very inspirational.
