A Proof...  Una prueba...


This poor whale's tail woodcut has been lost in the studio for several months.  I'm back at it, after pulling this proof.  I can see I need to clear out a lot of the water ripples in the distance ... making them small glints of light.

Este pobre grabado en madera de cola de ballena ha sido perdido en mi taller durante varios mess.  Ya estoy de vuelto a trabajarlo despues de tirar esta prueba.  Veo que hace falta quitar mas del agua distante...  haciendo pequenos destellos de luz..

Thanks, Ellen... I want to clean up a lot of the water in the distance so that wake is even more evident...

This is wonderful. And after seeing whales in person on the Atlantic last week, its makes me want to try my hand too.
