'After Weeks at Sea, the Children Sight Land...'
Size/Tamano: 5.5" x 8" / 14cm x 20cm
Edition: 50

Happy news!!! Three of my recent prints were accepted into the 10th Annual East End Art Guild Juried Exhibition here in Puerto Rico. I was the only printmaker so the competition among watercolors, oils and acrylics was fierce. We had three jurors, all well-known Puerto Rican artists: Francisco Rodon, Carlos Davila and Nelson Sambolin. I don't have the numbers but there were less than 60 pieces accepted... so hurrah for printmakers! We can compete with the big guys.

This little piece that made it in was created for a recent Baren exchange so many of you readers actually own it. The other two pieces were my 'Antorcha', another Baren exchange piece, and 'The Griffin', a Solstice exchange piece, both of which many of you may have.

Felices noticias!!!

Thanks so much, Annie and Vivien. I'm still floating on air.

Initially I wasn't going to submit anything but then an painter friend said 'Why not? You've been working and producing all year.' I'm glad she talked me into it.
